It was a SOCK-TOBER Success! Or perhaps a 'sock'-cess, as Pelletier Properties partnered with St. Bernard's High School to collect and then deliver 100's of pairs of new socks to our friends at Ginny's Helping Hands and Food Pantry!
Our friend Brandon over at Ginny's then helped coordinate a partnership with the Leominster Police Department and Jennessa McQuade with their Community Outreach Program, to disperse the socks to those who need them most!

The idea was simple enough - for the month of October, we left a bin in our offices at Keller-Williams North Central, for anyone who would like to participate to donate new packaged socks. Our local friends, family, and clients came through big time, and our bins overflowed with socks in all sizes, shapes, and colors! St. Bernard's High had a similar drop-off spot for socks, and by the end of the month, we had a massive sock explosion to bring over to our friends at Ginny's! Here is what a few of the involved parties had to say about the event experience:
"When our Director of Operations Annie Reiser came up with the idea for a Sock Drive, I didn't realize the significant need for something that most of us take for granted! In the end, it all came together as a truly amazing effort by so many! To put it bluntly, it was A LOT OF SOCKS! Thank you to everyone who donated for your generosity!" - Nick Pelletier, Founder and President of Pelletier Properties

"For those who don't know, socks are one of the most needed items of organizations that work with individuals experiencing homelessness. I am glad that I could work with Jen Nessa and the Leominster Police Outreach Program to ensure that these socks get to those who need them most, especially as the coldest months of the year approach!" - Brandon L. Robbins, Manager at Ginny's Helping Hands and Food Pantry

"We were extremely excited to give back to our local community as part of this effort!! Sometimes it is little things that we under estimate that can truly make a huge difference! Thanks to everyone in our community that contributed!" - St. Bernard's High School

"Thank you to Pelletier Properties for their generous donation to help those in need! #TeamGinnys was able to split the socks donated with the Leominster Police Outreach Program to make sure they get to those in need as the cold months are upon us!" - Ginny's Helping Hands and Food Pantry
"Thanks so much to everyone for working with our program to get this accomplished! The one thing that we are always looking for is socks and underwear, as many individuals find this to be more of a struggle than even a winter jacket!" - Jennessa McQuade, Community Outreach Program, Leominster Police Department

Again, thank you to everyone involved in this truly awesome event that helped so many! Pelletier Properties believes strongly in community service and support, and we can accomplish so much more when we partner with each other to make change happen, together! Happy Sock-Tober!
